LIMB 2.2.1 is about to be released in several days featuring many bugfixes, some new functionality and GUI improvements.

This release will be the next milestone in the long journey to 2.3....

We're working on making LIMB as useable and accessible as possible.

Following the recent demo site 2.2 upgrade the LIMB CMF support site has been upgraded too.

This upgrade allowed to speed up the site response time greatly using full page caching mechanism available in LIMB 2.2

Please update your bookmarks since the demo site has moved!

Now it's located at demo.limb-project.com, the old one will be available for some time though...

The next release of LIMB is featuring a lot of internal improvements.

This is really about optimization, speed and design flaws fixes(yes, we do have them :( )

The end user changes are not really visible yet API changes are vast!

The most important feature in the 2.2 will be intercepting filters functionality allowing to dynamically plug in additional modules.

After a lot of debating on this topic we've come to the decision of calling LIMB a Content Management Framework(CMF) rather than a Content Management System(CMS).

Indeed, LIMB is not a ready-to-use CMS yet it gives all the means to create the one.

Although limb.0x00.ru is not going to become unavailable immediately, it's recommended to update your bookmarks( if any :) )

We've released LIMB 2.1. It may sound pretty surprising for the first release to have "2.1" index but there is a simple explanation: we have being developing LIMB internally for some time already and only starting with "2.0" version we felt it was ready for the public usage.

After several weeks of hard working we've finally managed to get LIMB support site on-line...(Phew! Let's go, guys, grab some beer! :) )
